The ultrasonic tooth cleaner is composed of an ultrasonic generator and a transducer. The generator generates electromagnetic oscillation and amplifies the power. The transducer converts high frequency electric energy into ultrasonic vibration. The frequency of vibration reaches 20,000 to 45,000 Hz. Through the high frequency oscillation of the working head on the transducer, the odontolith attached to the tooth surface is removed.
