Piezoelectric ceramic semiconductor materials in ceramics, semiconductors are many. The property of resistance changing with temperature, which can be used in nonlinear resistance. The negative temperature coefficient nonlinear resistance (NTC nonlinear resistance) decreases with the increase of temperature, which has general semiconductor characteristics. Oxide ceramics of ferrous metals, because of their chemical and thermal stability, can be used for non-linear resistance and temperature control in a wide range. In contrast, elements called PTC thermistors use semiconducting BaTiO3 ceramics. Because the resistance of this kind of ceramics increases rapidly under the phase change temperature, if it is used as a resistance heating element, it can automatically control the temperature near the phase change temperature, which is very convenient.
